'Díscolo', the new album by El Kuelgue

Music news

An album that does not pursue perfection, but rather identity.

Fractious is the name of the sixth album release of The Kuelguea material that celebrates imperfection and highlights the warmth of humanity and spontaneity. Released via label Speakerthis album of 12 tracks finds its purpose in the unfinished, prioritizing absolute artistic honesty.

With an artisanal aesthetic and meticulous arrangements, the band from Villa Crespo builds an eclectic sound ecosystem that oscillates between the absurd and the everyday. The album adds unique sound dimensions thanks to the collaborations of The Kanka in “We understand each other”, You're Not Going to Like It in “The Machine” and Chango Spasiuk in “Old shrink”.

The group, led by Julian Kartunwill accompany this launch with an international tour that includes stops in the Movistar Arena of Buenos Aires, the festival Live Latino in Zaragoza and the Cosquín Rock in Barcelona. Their presentations promise to be experiences where the theatrical and the unexpected intertwine with the musical.
