ROBERT PLANT eleven concerts in Italy together with Suzi Dian (Info and tickets)

Music news

Robert Plant returns to Italy, announcing 11 new event dates in Italy which will cover the entire month of October and will see him as the protagonist together with Suzi Dian, of the Saving Grace project.

The tour will start on October 8th from the historic Petruzzelli Theater in Bari and then visit many prestigious Italian theatres, from Naples to Rome, from Florence to Trieste, passing through Bologna, Turin, Como, Bolzano and Padua, and finally ending in Brescia on the 23rd October.

Saving Grace is the project that sees Suzi Dian (vocals), Oli Jefferson (percussion), Tony Kelsey (mandolin, baritone and acoustic guitars), Robert Plant (vocals) and Matt Worley (banjo, acoustic and baritone guitars, cuatro) on stage and which made its debut in early 2019 with a series of surprise gigs at small venues in England, Wales and Ireland and subsequently, a trio of UK dates in support of the Fairport Convention.

The intimate performances saw the band draw on a repertoire of “music inspired by the dreamscape of Welsh marches”, featuring songs that span Plant’s diverse styles and influences, particularly his enduring passion for British and American folk, spirituals and and traditional blues, including great classics by Doc Watson, Donovan, Moby Grape and Low, and many others.
The same intimate atmosphere will be repeated in Italian theaters, offering the public the unique experience of being able to listen to a legend like Robert Plant live in such a particular context.
A musical experience that no Italian fan will want to miss.
